After completing an M.Sc. in Physics, I began working as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Physics at Amrit Campus, Tribhuvan University, in October 1994. In July 1997, I was promoted to Assistant Professor. The following year, in April 1998, I took study leave to pursue a Ph.D. at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and returned to the same position in March 2002. I was subsequently promoted to Associate Professor in August 2009 and to full Professor in July 2019.
